Besides having been a den mother for the Cub Scouts, Sunday school teacher and frequent church volunteer, Betsy Wisehart is a Paul Harris Fellow, and has served as assistant treasurer for her local Rotary for the past seventeen years. Both Betsy and Don have served as president of the Rotary Club of Wakefield, RI. Betsy was named the club’s Rotarian of the Year in 2010. Don Wisehart has served as a board member of the South County Domestic Violence Resource Center. Betsy currently serves on that Board. Don is currently a board member and treasurer for the Galilee Mission and has served in that capacity for the South County Animal Rescue League. He was also a board member and deacon of the Wakefield Baptist Church. He has has served as a Big Brother for “Big Brothers” of RI.
